The symposium on dialysis access and central venous catheters was founded by Assoz. Prof. Gürkan Sengölge and Prim. Univ. Doz. Dr. Sebastian Roka in 2016 as an Austrian platform with a wide spectrum. The target group is specialists from nephrology and vascular surgery, infectiology and hospital hygiene as well as radiology, angiology and dialysis care teams. The symposium offers hands-on workshops, meet-the-expert sessions and the possibility to practice sonography measurements on anatomical models as well as dialysis access through cadaver training.
